Logo Design & Harmonized Website for Fisher Apiary
Welcome to Fisher Apiary
Hi, I'm Jessica, the proud owner of a small bee apiary, with my husband Brandon as my trusty sidekick! He helps with anything I need and is a champ every time he gets stung, lol!
I've been passionate about beekeeping for a long time and finally took the leap a couple of years ago. Luckily, and to my surprise, Brandon quickly became fascinated (how could you not?) and now it's an adventure we get to share. Our main goal is to keep our property as natural as possible, so we can offer clean, pesticide-free products. We don’t use chemical sprays on our lawn or gardens, which makes us proud to offer 100% natural honey. We’re so excited to share our work with you!
Rooted in Nature and Soul:
Organic Design and Seamless Web Experience
I thoroughly enjoyed working on Jessica’s logo and website for her new apiary. After some trial and error, we landed on a bold, nature-inspired logo featuring vibrant honeycomb colors. We experimented with a few design concepts, making sure to capture the essence of her business—something that felt natural, welcoming, and full of life. The goal was to bring the feel of the apiary into the digital world, creating a visual that would resonate with her customers at first glance.
I fell in love with the close-to-nature feel of the honeycomb, and from that inspiration, I put as much love into the overall design as I could. It wasn’t just about the image, though; the fonts had to be just right. We experimented with different styles, ultimately landing on a font that felt organic but professional. Pictures may say a thousand words, but bad fonts can confuse people. I wanted the message to be clear, with or without words. The final design captures the spirit of Fisher Apiary perfectly: bold, bright, and undeniably connected to nature.
For the website, Jessica needed a simple way for people to contact her, so I created what I like to call a Digital Business Card. This one-page site gives a brief overview of her business, her offerings, and all the ways to get in touch. The idea was to keep things simple and clean—allowing visitors to quickly find the information they need. I designed the site with mobile users in mind, ensuring that it looks great on any device. We even carried over the bee theme from the logo to make the website feel alive and connected to her brand.
Every element of the site is designed to reflect the organic essence of Fisher Apiary. While the colors are a blend of purple and white, they create a clean and inviting space, allowing the natural flow of information to guide visitors. The bees from the logo appear throughout the page, adding a playful yet professional touch. The goal was to make it easy for customers to connect with Jessica while keeping the site visually appealing and intuitive to navigate. The result is a seamless web experience that’s as "rooted in nature and soul" as the brand itself. You can check out the full site here.
Creating a Digital Experience as Natural as the Apiary
Just like Fisher Apiary’s commitment to natural and sustainable practices, the logo and website reflect that same care and attention. The clean, straightforward design mirrors the simplicity and purity of their products, offering a cohesive and inviting brand experience.
Every project I take on reflects my commitment to balancing function with aesthetic. In addition to designing logos and websites, I also manage email services and ensure seamless integration across platforms. My goal is always to create something meaningful, visually compelling, and tailored to the unique needs of each business.
